Is it permissible to recite the Qurʾān in the state of Istiḥāḍah?

Question:

Is it permissible to recite the Qurʾān in the state of Istiḥāḍah?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

It is permissible to recite the Qurʾān while in the state of Istiḥāḍah, even if one is not in the state of Wuḍūʾ. However, it is not permissible to touch the Qurʾān while in the state of Istiḥāḍah unless one is in the state of Wuḍūʾ.[1]
