When Does a Woman perform Ghusl after her Period has Terminated?

Question:

What is the ruling on a woman whose menses has terminated, but she is working or at school, and has no means to perform ghusl to purify herself and pray?

Because she does not have the means to purify herself, and is not in the taharah state, is it fine for her to miss the prayer and pray the qadha when she does have the means?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, a woman whose menses has terminated must perform ghusl and resume her religious obligations such as Salah.[1]

If she does not have the means to purify herself due to being at work or school, she should excuse herself and return home or where she can privately shower so that she can fulfill her obligations to Allah Ta’ala.

It is not permissible for her to miss her Salah due to work. She should do whatever it takes for her to take a bath and perform her Salah.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
