The Concern Of Hadhrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu)

Hadhrat Umar  (radi Allahu anhu) had no time for sleeping.He was engaged in the service of Deen twenty four hours daily, literally speaking.While engrossed in his obligations,worldly or Deeni, he would remain seated and take a few winks.It was said to him: ‘O Ameerul Mu’mineen!Why don’t you take a rest and sleep?’ He replied: ‘How can i sleep?If i sleep during the day time,I shall violate the rights of people,and if i sleep during the night,i shall be violating the rights of Allah’.
