
This is a traditional Egyptian dessert that can be made in minutes.
What you need:
1 litre milk
2-3 cups sugar
1 T rose water
pinch of elachie pwd
3-4 T cornflour
4 T sago
Heres How:
Bring milk to the boil with sugar and rose water in a saucepan.
Add the cooked sago in the milk.
Dissolve the cornstarch in seperate bowl with a few tablespoons of water until smooth.
Add to saucepan and whisk well.
Cook on medium heat for a few minutes until thickened.
Remember it will thicken once it cools, so once it looks like a thin custard it should be ready.
Adjust sugar to taste .
Garnish with crushed nuts of your choice.
