The hallmark of a believer: Love for Allah

There are generally four types of love: Love between the parents and children, love between the husband and wife, love between a student and a teacher and lastly, love for one another based on same type of transaction.  Although the love in the above relationships is instinctive, it still bears an element of personal gain.  However, there is one relationship superior to all these ephemeral bonds, the relationship and love between Allah Ta῾ālā and His servant.  Allah loves us without any motive, He loves us because we are we, and we love Allah because of Allah is Allah.

Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai Sahib (madda zilluhu) elaborated on the love for Allah and explained Allah’s love for us. He emphasises that Allah created our hearts. We should give our heart back to Allah. Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai Sahib (madda zilluhu) conducted the zikr and Mufti Muhammad Rawat Sahib (madda zilluhu) recited the salawāt and concluded with a du῾ā.
