Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh.
Respected Brother / Sister in Islam,
Thousands of desperate families are fleeing the bombardment in Idlib, Syria. Many internally displaced persons have been forced to sleep in the open, without any shelter in freezing conditions.
There are major shortages of basic necessities, including food and clean water, medicine, warm clothes, fuel and tents.
We appeal to the Ummah to help our brothers and sisters in this time of dire need and donate whatever amount you can InshaAllah.
Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi Wasallam) said:
“Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter…” [Tirmidhi 1930]
